I am writing to share my recent experience with Integrity Home Mortgage, Winchester team of Scott Fournier & Donna Bracy.

In March of 2019 my wife and I signed a contract for a new construction home in Stephenson Virginia. We started the mortgage process with our current lender as they were the company that we used for our recently sold home. During this time I was preparing for another forward deployment to Afghanistan as a defense Contractor. Additionally we had to find a temporary housing situation for my wife while our home was being constructed and get moved in. Our focus on the financing aspect was minimal as we were overwhelmed with other more pressing issues. Prior to my heading out on deployment I contacted my Loan officer and made what I thought were clear & concise arrangements to address the loan process while overseas, addressing the issues of time difference, lack of computer connectivity, etc.

During the last week of July, after receiving the third loan application with the wrong address on it; and calling back to my lender on previously discussed days/times to find out that my loan officer was “out for the day” then on leave, with no indication of any return; I realized that we needed to make a financing change as the current one was not working. To compound the issue the builder informed us that the house would be completed earlier than anticipated, and an appraisal needed to be ordered. I contacted my Realtor and asked for advice on who to change the mortgage portion to, and how to slow down the process to allow that person to get up to speed. My realtor referred me to Integrity Home Mortgage and Scott Fournier. In retrospect it was a blessing, and made me wish I had used them from the beginning.

From my first phone conversation with Scott It was clear that he was a consummate professional, who provided realistic guidance/advice. He assured me that he would be able to close before the end of August (avoiding an additional charge by my builder), but would do his best to close on the previously scheduled date of 21 August. We closed as scheduled on 21 August, which I still can’t believe, more importantly Scott & Donna made the process painless for us, especially my wife who was present with a “power of Attorney” to do the signing. Scott and Donna proved to be competent, professional and more importantly understanding of our situation and the challenges that were presented. My wife and I will strongly recommend their services to anyone we know in need of a mortgage or refinance. We will do so knowing that they will be dealt with in a professional and extremely competent manner.
